Pomegranate (Punica granatum)

Pomegranates were recently introduced into the fields of Cooperativa Giardinetto’s members. It is a young crop made possible through constant research and passion for a rich land. The microclimate and composition of the land are in fact a combination that creates the perfect environment for the growth and maturation of this fruit. The pomegranate supply chain currently serves mainly the production at Farris, but these great results will surely lead to a gradual expansion in land dedicated to its cultivation.
